So I head into my Organizational Behavior class on Monday morning and our professor informs us that we're going to spend the class period watching a video case on leadership techniques.
I immediately fear the worst, envisioning one of those 70s-era training videos featuring grating music, out-of-date hairdos, and painfully heavy-handed dialogue. It seemed we were in for a long hour and 2o minutes.
Imagine my surprise when our prof cues up an A&E biopic/mini-series featuring Kenneth Branagh as explorer Ernest Shackleton. This thing's got some totally legit production values, a sweeping score, and not a bad 70s hairdo in sight!
Better yet- the film featured Aussie actor Matt Day in the role of photographer Frank Hurley. This guy is easy on the eyes, and definitely easy on the ears as well, with his dreamy Aussie brogue.
Yep, nothing like Aussies in Unexpected Places to liven up ANY early morning business class :-)
