Okay, okay. I know St. Patrick's Day has come and gone, and I will soon be moving on from the incessant references to all things "Irish..." but not before I pay homage to this little bit of awesomeness which I stumbled across in Trader Joe's the other day.Trader Joe's Blarney Scone! Check out the little ditty on the wrapper: "There once was an Irish Soda Bread, that we named by a scone instead. Kissed with sweet raisins, we think it's amazin', and we hope the good word you will spread."
Thrown in a little bit of Kerry Gold imported Irish butter (also in stock at Trader Joe's in honor of St. Pat's) and you've got something that's pretty "amazin' " indeed!
